Office Visits and Dropoffs
We know your time is valuable. To minimize waiting, and to allow adequate time for all patients, we ask you call our office and schedule an appointment to bring your pet in for an examination. If you are a new client, you can download the new client form here and bring the completed form with you to your appointment if desired. Emergencies can never be anticipated, and will always receive top priority, even though scheduled appointments may be waiting. Please realize we make every effort to see each client at his or her scheduled appointment time, but short appointment delays are occasionally unavoidable.
Drop-off appointments are available. A drop-off allows you to bring your pet at the time that works best for you, leave the pet for all or part of the day, and pick up your pet when it is most convenient for you. We ask that you take just a minute to fill out a drop off form at the time of admittance so we will have a contact number for you, as well as information as to the nature of your pets visit. You may download the drop-off form here and bring the completed form with you if desired. A doctor will examine your pet and call you later with a diagnosis and treatment recommendation and a cost estimate if a more extended workup is required.
For things such as nail trims, vaccinations, suture or drain removal, anal sac expression, or other procedures that do not require a full physical exam, we can schedule a runback appointment. A runback means you can drop by with your pet during regular office hours and the receptionist will run your pet back to our treatment area where an available doctor will provide the services requested, usually within a short time period.
If you are bringing in a pet for a dental or surgical procedure that requires an anesthetic we request you complete an anesthetic authorization form which offers several optional services which increase the margin of safety and comfort for our patients and their owners. We offer blood testing prior to anesthesia, IV catheter placement, microchip ID implantation, and pain management options for your consideration. More information is available on the form itself. To save time you may download this Authorization for Professional Services form and bring the completed form with you on the morning of your scheduled appointment. We can also provide you with a copy of the form to fill out when you drop off your pet.
